Joe Perkins has been providing transformational and financial leadership to automotive suppliers for more than three decades. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Michigan State University and an MBA from Wayne State University.
Before joining Mobex Global, Perkins served as Chief Financial Officer of Joyson Safety Systems, formerly known as Key Safety Systems. In this position, Perkins supervised the global purchase of a significant portion of Takata’s assets. Following the closure of the Takata transaction, Perkins oversaw the successful integration of the $7 billion combined Joyson/Key Safety enterprise, as well as Joyson’s transition from a private company to a publicly listed company on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. Prior to joining Key Safety Systems, Perkins served as Chief Financial Officer of Nexteer Automotive where he drove several transformative initiatives, including a pivotal role in Nexteer’s successful IPO on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
With over 16 years of progressive financial management experience, Chris Lilla has extensive knowledge in navigating global organizations through M&A transactions, complex integrations and cost restructurings. Lilla is a graduate of Michigan State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Science in Accounting. Lilla is also a certified public accountant.
Before joining Mobex Global, Lilla served as Vice President of Strategic Finance at Joyson Safety Systems (“Joyson”) f/k/a Key Safety Systems (“Key”). While at Key, Lilla’s primary responsibility was to lead the global financial planning and analysis and business planning teams. Additionally, at Key, Lilla served as Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer and Controller (“CAO”). In this role, Lilla oversaw the technical accounting, financial reporting, corporate internal controls functions, North America shared services, and accounting systems. Before joining Joyson, Lilla served as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at Federal-Mogul Powertrain and held several progressive leadership roles at Delphi and KPMG LLP.
Cory Ryner brings 21 years of automotive and heavy-duty market experience in manufacturing engineering, product development, program management, business development, operations management, and executive leadership. Ryner received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Purdue University.
During his career, Ryner has lead teams in automotive chassis and powertrain manufacturing with responsibility for a multitude of Tier 1, vertically integrated lightweight chassis solutions and several key conversions from cast iron to aluminum. Ryner started his career at Simpson Industries/Metaldyne as a manufacturing engineer before advancing to engineering and executive leadership roles with the founding members of DMI and ROI, giving him a unique manufacturing background in both advanced machining and high-integrity casting processes. In addition, he also brings strength in M&A and integration strategies to the Mobex team.
Paul Kenrick brings over three and a half decades of tier 1 automotive supplier business experience to his role as Chief Operating Officer. Kenrick earned an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from Michigan State University and a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University.
Prior to joining Mobex Global, Kenrick served as Vice President of North American Manufacturing for Akebono Brake Corporation for several years. But for most of his career, he honed his leadership skills in engineering, lean manufacturing transformation, and multi-plant operations management at Delphi Corporation, culminating in assuming the role of Director of North American operations for Powertrain Systems.
For more than a decade, Erica Bell has represented and advised corporations, providing both strategic and practical legal counsel. She has supported automotive organizations in key areas of their businesses including commercial transactions, OEM relationships, compliance, employment and labor, intellectual property, product safety, corporate governance, litigation, and M&A. Holding Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctorate degrees from the University of Detroit Mercy, Bell is a former president of the D. Augustus Straker Bar Association and former president of the Business Law Association at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.
Before joining Mobex Global, Bell served as in-house counsel for Brose North America, a Germany-based global automotive supplier, where she was responsible for legal and regulatory matters in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. Prior to joining Brose, Bell served as general counsel for a global corporate consulting firm and as in-house counsel for Behr America (now Mahle Industries).
Robert Flynn has been working within the automotive manufacturing operations and leadership industry for more than 30 years. He has extensive experience working within large facilities of high precision machining, assembly and management of all key disciplines. Flynn earned associate and bachelor degrees in business from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana, and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
Before joining Mobex Global, Flynn served as Director of Operations for Dexter Axle in Albion, Indiana. In this position he held full P&L responsibility for 5 plants, with 800 direct and indirect employees, along with 70 salaried employees. This responsibility included: Manufacturing, Materials, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Safety and Continuous Improvement. Flynn has held positions of Plant Manager, Director of Operations, Vice President of Precision Operations for GT Technologies. Flynn served as Plant Manager for multiple facilities for Simpson Industries for over 26 years.
Jesse Kalkman has three decades of Engineering and Sales leadership in the Automotive Industry. Kalkman has extensive experience and a positive track record managing top line growth in complex business environments with global OEM’s in the Tier 1 supplier space. Kalkman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University (formerly GMI) and an MBA from Northwood University.
Before joining Mobex Global, Kalkman progressed through multiple senior leadership roles at Nexteer Automotive. Most recently Kalkman served as VP, Chief Strategy Officer, leading the company’s organic growth strategy. Prior to that Kalkman served over 10 years in varying Sales leadership roles, including VP, Global Sales and Marketing, where he played a pivotal role in leading company benchmark performance for top line revenue growth and backlog of new business. This involved intimately working with most global OEM’s including GM, FCA, Ford, BMW, PSA, Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi, VW, Volvo, and JLR among others.
Lynn Pavlawk is a high-performing global executive with more than 26 years of proven experience in the automotive industry leading strategic, transformational initiatives to drive revenue growth, improve performance and achieve business success. Pavlawk earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Master of Science in Engineering Sciences from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York.
Before joining Mobex Global, Pavlawk honed her leadership expertise while at Nexteer Automotive and its predecessor businesses, General Motors and Delphi. She quickly advanced through various management and leadership roles in key organizational functions while continuously achieving results through global strategy development and project execution, strategic sales planning and revenue growth, marketing communications, U.S. legislative and global regulatory affairs, corporate sustainability, environment, social, and governance reporting, engineering initiatives and enterprise-wide collaboration. Most recently Pavlawk served as Global Director of Government Affairs, Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability for Nexteer Automotive.
